The I.Artsy Story
I.Artsy Drama Academy was founded in 2017 by two friends (Nick and Patricia) who used to work together on a US Hollywood movie production. The name “I.Artsy” was inspired by IATSE (The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) where most top Hollywood film production artiste are members.
Nick Fong is a multi-talented artist and Patricia Ong is a qualified educational psychologist with years of experience under her belt. They aspire to develop I.Artsy into a top drama academy with the mission of empowering students with skills for life through drama.
It all started with Nick who often played truant when he was young. His parents were frequently summoned by frustrated teachers because he failed all subjects except art and the school threatened to expel Nick from school. Nick would often withdraw to a secluded place to draw, engrossing in his own world while coping with the pain of school failure and rejection.
Nick’s parents believed in their son against all odds and enrolled him in an overseas arts and design school where he excelled. The constant enthusiasm to explore new things led Nick to co-invent 3D-animated technologies which are widely used in Hollywood, winning him the prestigious Oscar Academy Award in 2013.

Nick leads the I.Artsy team in developing proprietary drama and theatre script, costume design and videos in consultation with Patricia.
Management Team
Patricia Ong is the Principal of I.Artsy Drama Academy. After her graduation from the University of California, she worked for 10 years in US to help schools designed learning programs and carried out research activities. She also provided counselling to parents and children.
During her sabbatical leave, Patricia participated in a Hollywood movie production before returning to Singapore to start I.Artsy Drama Academy in 2017. Patricia is a well sought after speaker on child development and other educational related seminars.
